Who we are

About GreenLeap

We supply the physical layer between seed and harvest — and we specify it against the crop rather than against the price list.

Our position

Most agri-input
suppliers sell
from stock.

We start with the question that actually determines the season: what is being grown, under what light, in what climate, at what scale?

It sounds obvious. It is not what happens. A grower calls asking for shade net and is asked how many square metres and which colour. Nobody asks what the crop is. So they get 50% because 50% is what moves, and their gerbera cooks in May. The net was not defective. The specification was never made.

GreenLeap exists because that gap is expensive and entirely avoidable. A 50-cavity tray and a 104-cavity tray are not interchangeable. A 25 micron mulch film on an eight-month crop is a false economy you pay for in mid-season repair. An insect net at 50 mesh on an under-ventilated polyhouse trades whitefly for heat stress. These are not exotic failure modes — they are the routine result of buying products instead of specifying systems.

So we do the unglamorous thing: we ask questions before quoting, we put the technical basis in writing, and we tell growers when the cheaper option is actually the right one — and when it is not.

What we supply

Four families of system

Each one built to work with the others. Most projects touch at least three.

  • 01 Propagation Seedling trays, root trainers, cocopeat blocks and discs, grow bags. Where the crop starts.
  • 02 Protection Shade, insect, anti-hail, sericulture and specialty netting. Light, pests and impact.
  • 03 Structures Polyhouse and greenhouse systems with the full accessory line. Designed against your site, not a catalogue.
  • 04 Field & Ground Drip and sprinkler irrigation, mulch films, ground cover. Water in, weeds out.

How we work

Four stages, no skipping

This applies on a fifty-tray order as much as on a two-hectare build.

01

Consult

Crop, climate zone, plot geometry, timeline and budget — before anything is quoted.

02

Specify

Exact grades, cavity counts, shade factors, micron and GSM. Documented, with the reasoning.

03

Supply

Batch-inspected goods dispatched with test records against your written specification.

04

Support

Installation guidance and agronomic follow-up through the first production cycle.

Where we work

Eastern India,
in depth.

Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha. We know these soils, these monsoons and these transport routes first-hand.

Regional knowledge is not a marketing line in this trade — it is the difference between a specification that works and one that reads well. Eastern India has a humidity profile that punishes poor drainage, a pre-monsoon squall season that takes under-engineered structures, and a light regime that makes shade factors imported from Maharashtra or Karnataka simply wrong.

We ship across India and are glad to. But when a grower in Nadia or Jorhat or Ranchi describes a problem, we have usually seen it — and that shortens the distance between the call and the right answer.

Next step

Tell us the crop.
We’ll specify the system.

Send your crop, plot size and location. You’ll get a written specification with the technical reasoning — not a price list.
